Arenacross Tour to Give Away a 110cc Pit Bike in Canton, MS

The Arenacross Tour, has partnered with Canton Academy's 5th grade class to raise money for the group's field trip to Washington, D.C., in 2009.
The Arenacross Tour has donated a new 110cc motorcycle to be given away at the Tour's Dec. 27th event at the Canton Multipurpose & Equine Center. "The class tries each year to come up with various fundraisers," said Melissa Daniels, event coordinator for the Canton Multipurpose & Equine Center. "When the opportunity to benefit from The Arenacross Tour came along, of course they got excited; they would love to win it!"
All proceeds from the raffle ticket sales will go toward the Washington, D. C., field trip. Nan James, a 6th grade teacher at Canton Academy, has sponsored the trip for the past several years. "The trip provides a great educational opportunity as the classes tour landmarks of our great nation," said James. " The students get an idea of what American history really is, instead of just something they read in a book."
Raffle tickets are $3 for a single ticket and $5 for two and can be purchased from any Canton Academy 5th grader or by calling Melissa Daniels at (601) 859-4830. The winner must be present at The Arenacross Tour event with a ticket stub or valid I.D. to claim the prize.
